Central FL Wildlife Safari Hikes

Explore Florida’s wild beauty on a guided hike led by an award-winning wildlife photographer. Spot native animals & scenery, and receive stunning portraits of both yourself and the wildlife we find.

As an extension of my photography business, I lead local wildlife hikes in one of the most biodiverse areas in Central Florida. I’ve lived in this area my whole life and have fallen in love with the incredible wildlife here, and I wanted to offer other people the chance to experience it the same way. I’ve spent years out in the field tracking and photographing wildlife, so naturally it turned into bringing others out to experience it as well. Central Florida is where I first fell in love with wildlife, and one of the biggest privileges I have is being able to show guests why that is.

This isn’t a typical wildlife tour crowded with dozens of people or led by an airboat captain you can barely hear. I’ve designed these hikes to be more intimate and personal, giving you a front-row seat to world-class wildlife paired with my experience and knowledge of Central Florida’s ecosystems. We move through forests, swamps, and riverside trails while observing different species and learning how each one plays a role in the environment. Throughout the entire hike, I also capture professional photos of both you and the wildlife we encounter, so you leave with a visual story of your experience.

Common Wildlife

The area we hike is known for consistent wildlife activity, and I’ve been able to experience that firsthand year after year. I know these trails and animals by heart. Sightings of alligators and wading birds are the most common, but there are dozens of other species that frequent the area as well, including Florida black bears, white-tailed deer, freshwater turtles, feral hogs, and a wide variety of birds, from birds of prey to songbirds. Depending on the season, it’s even possible to see river otters and manatees, which are some of my favorite sightings.
