Silver Kings' Parade

A wall of massive tarpon moves in unison beneath the old Bahia Honda Railroad Bridge in the Florida Keys. There were hundreds of them present, and at one point I was surrounded by a wall on all sides. Common habitat for sharks, this dive site is as dangerous as it is breathtaking - only accessible during slack tide, as the powerful currents can quickly sweep divers out to sea. It was a humbling experience witnessing one of the ocean’s most iconic gamefish in their element.
