Whale Shark Wonder

Drifting through the open sea near Isla Holbox, Mexico, I found myself face to face with the largest fish in the ocean. Despite their size, whale sharks are gentle filter feeders, peacefully cruising through the sea in search of plankton. After she turned, she accidentally kicked me with her massive tail fin - a humbling reminder of just how enormous these gentle giants truly are. Free diving alongside her was an unforgettable encounter with one of God’s most awe-inspiring creations.
